Default Mini Calendar displays days event not shown on Calendar tab in Schedule View

Hi,

ZCS: 7.1.0_GA_3140.RHELF5_64_20110329135300
Zimbra Desktop 7.01b10791

When hovering mouse over specific day on the 'Mini Calendar' it displays the appointments for the day.

However when viewing the same date via Zimbra Desktop's Calendar tab (on Schedule View) is does not display certain appointments. When viewed as 'Work Week' or 'Day' the appointments appear on the calendar.

Has anyone else experienced this result? Does the mini calendar display only certain types of calendar appointments - free / busy, all day events for example?

As far as I know, there's no restriction on the type of appointment that can be displayed in the calendar module (it's the same code as the Web UI). I assume this is a question about the Calendar in Zimbra Desktop, if it is I'll move it to the correct forum.

FWIW, I have no problem displaying any Calendar events in ZD 7.

the problem also appears on Zimbra webmail meaning its not Zimbra Desktop specific. The items don't show on the Calendar when set to 'Schedule' view.

For this particular day (26th June 2011), have the following 4 appointments:

Appointment 1 & 2:
Type: Private
Display: Free
All Day Event Spanning 3 days
Reminders: None
Repeat: None

Appointment 3:
Type: Private
Display: Busy
Reminders: None
Repeat: None
Start: 07.20
End: 11.20

Appointment 4:
Type: Private
Display: Free
Reminders: None
Repeat: None
Start: 12.45
End: 14.40

The appointments which are not display on the Calendar are 3 & 4.

Just a quick note. This is a bug that developers will be looking to fix and release for ZCS v7.1.1
