Default Duplicating Emails

zimbra desktop is duplicating emails in my yahoo inbox. i receive pop ups of newly received emails which are the same as the older ones (everything including the time and date stamp is the same) and when I check my account online I can see only one copy of the email in the inbox. Happens quite regularly to generally the last two emails in the Inbox and is not one off. It is also filling up my online account with duplicates in all other folders too. Will have to uninstall zimbra unless this is resolved.

The same thing is happening to me, it doesn't do it only once, today I had an email duplicated 7 times.

I was having that happen a lot in 2.01 version. Since I updated to Beta 7.0.1 (build 10791) it happened only once. I been use the new version about a week.
Make sure if you download the new version you back up everything. I lost everything and had to start all over again.

The issue is with the latest version. I have tested a lot of email clients in the past few days and zimbra does seem to be the best for yahoo.com. However, this issue is the biggest drawback. Later I have installed another mail client and when it date sorts the messages one of the messages that was being duplicated by zimbra appears to be in the date it was duplicated whereas the date and time stamp on the email is of two years ago. I am not an IT person but it seems that zimbra is syncing the emails it is duplicating as if they are new. Generally happens to the latest few emails in any folder.

You should file a bug report in bugzilla (search to see if there's already one filed).

Default Tired of waiting

I actually went back to using Outlook. Just too many bugs in the zimbra desktop and no answers on the forums.
