Lost tags when moving mail to local folders

In Zimbra Desktop 2.01 I moved a chunk of mail from my Inbox to an archive folder I created in my Local Folders. Many of those messages were tagged, but after the move, all of the tags disappeared.

Is this a bug?

We are running Zimbra server 6, with plan to migrate to 7 this summer.

I just discovered this same thing and am wondering the same. Is this purposeful behavior, or a bug?
