Hello,

I know this issue has been marked [Solved] a few times, however, the solutions are not working on my end. Maybe I am just plain stupid :-).

Here is the thing: I adjust the length of the html signatures on the server and on the client side (/data/conf/attrs/). Of course it works fine with my zimbra account. However, I am also accessing Google Mail and a generic IMAP mailbox via Zimbra desktop. And here I still get that message that the signature exceeds the maximum lenght of 1024 characters...:-(

Does the signature lenght only applies to the Zimbra box? If no, what am I missing?

The signature lenngth you're modifyon in the Zimbra server only applies to that account. There's a separate setting in your gmail account preferences for setting a signature, are you using that or the default signature and what errors or problems are you seeing in your gmail accountt?

Hi Bill,

I use different settings (preferences/signatures) for each account (different signature for every account...).

The error only applies when I want to set a html signature for those accounts...

Try the suggestions in the following forum thread. How do I change the max signature length limit in ZD? My post in that thread should do the trick for Windows users.
