Exclamation Data Execution Prevention - Shutdown

Hi,

I am using Zimbra Desktop and every few minutes a Windows Message pops up and states that, "Data Execution Prevention - To help protect your computer windows has closed this program. Name: zdclient, Publisher: Mozilla Foundation.

This is a new problem that started yesterday. I have WinXp SP3 all updates.

Any ideas?

You need to find out what DEP is and how to whitelist a program: +"Data Execution Prevention" - Yahoo! Search Results

Thanks for the reply. How can I be certain that something more sinister is not happening? I have been using ZD for several months and this only happens recently and intermittent at that.

That depends on whether you trust the supplier of your applications and whether you feel confident either turning DEP off or whitelisting the application - the answer to your question is something only you can answer.

Unfortunately I have no experience that would help you debug any reason for this behaviour.
