Contacts... Address Book... Task List... nothing is syncing with the server. Are there some common issues or suggestions that anyone here can tell me about. So far, with the exception of finding someone to help me install Zimbra these forums have been worthless.
I have a client who is about ready to execute me and go with MS Exchange and forever curse the name of Zimbra over this!!!
I have the sync working on one computer earlier today and can't seem to get any other machines to sync. This is a great source of frustration for me and for many others who are very eager to see this up and running correctly. Any help you can offer would be awesome and greatly appreciated!
I'm not using Zimbra desktop but tried it for you.
Indeed nothing in sync. At least not the first few minutes. Once everything was completed it worked like a charm.
Everything is working fine with the Web User Interface as well as the mobile browser. We are able to send and recieve emails from ZD and that is working fine too. However, I have been able to get one ZD to sync with the server and none of the other users are having any luck. I have tried both POP and IMAP protocols and have scoured this forums and documentation looking for answers on the matter.
I've tried both IMAP and POP with ZD on a Vista SP1 machine and it is not working. Ironically, I have it setup on another Vista SP1 machine in my office and it is working just fine. Instant syncronization. It is pretty cool... but it would be more cool if it did work on all machines. We have one user who works off site using a Mac.
Wow... that was too easy. I setup the main machine I have running ZD with IMAP and it does sync. However, I looked right over that option when setting up an email account. LOL. I will consider this my Christmas present
