Default Zimbra Desktop as default email client

Hello,

We work with an accounting program that exports files as attachments to emails and by default it is opening an Outlook email to send the email and attachment and we need this to be done in Zimbra Desktop.

By using the following navigation how can we make this happen:

Control Panel > Mail > Profiles

Essentially I need to know how to create a Zimbra email profile in the control panel of the Microsoft Windows Control Panel.

Thanks,
Josh

Have you seen any progress on this?

If not have you submitted a bug report or feature request? If not set one up or I will and we can vote on it.

This needs to be sorted out. I want a Zdesktop client that acts like a real desktop client!

The ability to make Zimbra the default email client has been an open bug for at least a year, maybe two. I believe that was ZWC, though I wouldn't be surprised to find that there was a bug for ZD as well -- it *might* be easier to do for ZD, but I'm assuming here that they haven't.
