Signature Options

I haven't found a way to do this in Zimbra and was wondering if it were possible or if there were already a request for this.

I would like to be able to specify that by default, my signature should be included in new messages, but not in replies or forwards. Generally, someone who has sent me a message knows who I am and thus I don't need to include my signature just making the message a lot longer. We also really want this option for our company since a large number of our internal messages are replies and this will save space and make it easier to review "threads". Currently, I am constantly having to either choose to add my signature to new messages or choose to remove it from replies. Neither is optimal.

It works for me while replying too. All I did was set a signature, and enable it in 'accounts' under preferences. The signature is added to reply mails and forwards. I am using ajax version in zcs.

oh that's a good idea, i never try to enable signature, let's me try it and i'll get back here for the review

Right, I would like to be able to have the signature added to new messages, but NOT replies and forwards.

I am not sure if this feature is possible. I don't think so.
