How to set as default mail program

Hi,

I have a customer using Zimbra and our software package. Within our software, they can enter their email address and their supervisors. When they select the link to email, it uses the mailto field in IE and Firefox. In order to select Zimbra (or any other email program) as the default email program in the browser, the email program itself has to be set as default. Is there a way to set Zimbra to be the default email program?

You can set your Zimbra Desktop as default mail handler in preferences.

Preferences > General > Check "Use Zimbra Desktop as default mail application"
