[2.0.1] error on sorting messages

I'm using zimbra desktop 2.0.1 with google apps account. I've tried to sort the email on my sent items folder by recipient and got this error message:

Sorting on recipient is currently unavailable. You can search by recipient by selecting one or more messages, and then clicking the "To" header.

anyone has any idea why it's happening?

Perhaps it's because the feature is currently not available?

amazing. thought it was a bug. an 2011 email program that can't sort? who would have thought on that..?

There are other popular mail apps (esp. web mail apps) don't do sorting.

zimbra put in a lot of effort in improving mailbox searching. there is hardly anything you can't do with searching that you can with sorting. oftentimes searching can get what you need a lot faster than sorting can.

thx for the help phoenix.
when designing a program they need to think on the UI also and the familiraty of users with mail programs. if there is a column I can click on, I will click on it and expect sorting. if there is no such function then there shouldn't be a clickable column. I know of only one web app that doens't offer sorting, but it's pretty common in desktop apps.
