Default Server IMAP folders

How do you specify a generic IMAP account to use the sent folder on the server, instead of the local sent folder?

It does use the Sent folder on the server, why do you think it doesn't?

Well, I have two "sent items" folders in my Zimbra client (the one I think is the server one is indented under the inbox), and only the "server" one appears in other clients (windows live mail, iphone, ipad). I noticed something similar in the Windows Live client, and had to set the IMAP path to \INBOX. Can't see how to do that in Zimbra.

I have this exact same issue and it is the sole reason I am not using Zimbra for my email client; i.e. because it doesn't support the directory structure of my domain host's email (which Outlook, Thunderbird, etc do [of course those clients have their own shortcomings as well]).

Would love to see Zimbra either change it's IMAP path or allow us users to modify it to our own liking.
