Default Google calendar and contact issues

I only seem to be able to sync the main Google calandar. None of the others are loaded or synced. I can create new Google calendars in ZD but they won't show in Google.
For the Google contacts, I do not see any groups and I cannot create new Google groups in ZD.

These problems has been reported previously, but I did not find any answer despite extensive searches in the Forum or on the net. Any suggestions?

Bugzilla would also be the place to search, vote on this if you're interested: Bug 48387 – Only displays one Google Calendar

Thank you Bill, I did vote on this bug... hope there is a solution as this limits the usability for me.
