Default Set up installation

I am trying to install my email data and continually get smtp connect failure.
I have checked with my ISP and all information that I have entered is correct.
I am using windows 7 and at present windows live mail.
Can any body help.

R Gale

the info I am entering is to a pop3 server.
Mail.XXXXXX.net port 110
smtp.XXXX.org port 25
password

this works ok for web email and windows live mail but not for Zimbra

I'll move it to the correct forum.

Are you trying to connect to a Windows Live email account or some other service (and which one if it's 'other')? Have you tried connecting via IMAP (and if so, what happens)?

Hi

No I am not trying to connect to a windows live email account, I am using the windows live email to pick up my mail from the internet email run by direct save telecom.
I wanted to change to Zimbra as it has a more features, i.e like microsoft outlook.
I have not tried imap as it is a pop3 server i am trying to connect to.
I hope this helps

Regards

Roger
