Default Importing local files Zimbra Desktop 2.0

I am unable to import my local folders that I exported out of Zimbra Desktop 1.0 into Zimbra Desktop 2.0. In Preferences/Local Folders/Import I specify the .tgz file I exported, click on Folders (the last one), click on Advanced settings, specify Mail (none of the others are specified) and click Import. I get notification that the import has started but nothing is imported.

Am I following the right sequence? The tgz file looks good after I expanded it. What should I be seeing if the import works? I would expect that Local Folders should expand with all of the exported local folders. Is there a log file somewhere?

Mac OSX 10.6.4
ZCS 6.0.7
ZD 1.0.4 build 1833 (migrating from)
ZD 2.0 10580

Default Log file error

zdesktop.log shows the following error (ad nauseam).
2010-10-13 12:04:00,645 WARN [btpool0-1] [mid=1;] misc - system failure: invalid value for flags: 1207959554:
2010-10-13 12:04:00,645 WARN [btpool0-1] [mid=1;] misc - system failure: invalid value for flags: 1207959552:
2010-10-13 12:04:00,645 WARN [btpool0-1] [mid=1;] misc - system failure: invalid value for flags: 1207959554:
2010-10-13 12:04:00,671 WARN [btpool0-1] [mid=1;] misc - system failure: invalid value for flags: 1216349186:

I have tried various destinations in the import...creating several local folders and specifying them as the destination, specifying the last Folders in the pop-up box and creating several different local folders. My export file only contains mail from the ZD 1.0.4 "Local Files".

Thanks.

can you attach the entire zdesktop.log after trying importing? you may send a private message to us, so that your log is only viewable by zimbra developers.

I am unable to recover the log files of my earlier attempts to migrate my local data into 2.0. As I recall they were the same...just warnings but nothing migrated. I have moved on and PAINFULLY moved my local stuff back into ZCS.

Default Problem importing TGZ files also

I am having the same problem as the previous writer in this thread. I moved from Yahoo Zimbra Desktop to the newest Zimbra Desktop. I had about 600Mb of email in an archive local folder that I would rather not upload to the server just to port it over to my new desktop client. So far, all my attempts to import the tgz file have failed. What would help to solve this problem?

See post #3 above yours and follow the steps asked for in that post.

Default Error log file not found

Went to find my zdesktop.log file for any info about the failed import and there is no file under /data/log/. I have a big log for the Yahoo Zimbra Desktop that I am migrating away from, but nothing from the failed import on the new Zimbra Desktop.

The warning message during failed import: "A network service error has occurred."
