GAL different between ZD1.0.4 and ZD2.0 Beta 4

I work for a university and our "email guys" (I use that term loosely) are telling everyone on campus not to use Zimbra Desktop. To say the least they are not much help, so I thought I would try here.

When I use ZD 1.0.4 I can access our entire global access list but when I change to ZD 2.0 Beta 4 I can only get a small sampling of our gal.

Any thoughts would be great.
