Default IMAP Folder assignment

Does Zimbra still not support the ability to specify the "sent" folder for accounts other than the ones "supported" by Zimbra?

I am using GoDaddy email and my sent folder is called "Sent Items". I have searched and searched and there seems to be no way to have that folder set as the one into which I can put sent emails.

I would really love to use Zimbra, but I am shocked and disappointed that a basic function like this is not in Zimbra.

The "Sent" folder in Zimbra is what Zimbra uses for sent messages. This can't be changed or renamed at this time. But I'm confused on why you would need it to be? Most email clients (Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) will allow you to specify which folder is the sent folder to make sure things are consistent.

I am using Zimbra Desktop as my email client, and just like you say others such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and even the old school evolution support specifying what the Sent folder is on your IMAP server, while ZD doesn't.
