Default Sound new mail on Linux Ubuntu

Hi
Any idea how to enable the sound for zdesktop when a new mail arrives on a Linux distro (Ubuntu 10.4)?

For one that uses the built in Ubuntu NotifyOSD system (could easily hack to add sound to it):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sect2k/zimdicator
sudo apt-get install zimdicator
or grab it via:
http://launchpad.net/zimdicator
nohub zimdicator.py (if it doesn't start automatically/don't remember)
configure connection settings via system > preferences > zimbra mail indicator (or zimdicator-config.py)

or there's another linux one:
ZimbraNotify | Zimbra :: Gallery

It doesn't seem possible at present, unless someone can suggest a workaround? However, there is:
Bug 42019 – Play audio notifications through html5 rather than Quicktime/WM
Play audio notifications through html5 rather than Quicktime/WM
Which is limited to IM.
We should perhaps try and get that bug expanded to apply to all notifications (alarm, IM, and new mail)?
That bug is currently not scheduled until IronMaiden release
