Default error: "Cannot connect to "SMTP server". Please check host/port and network connectiv

Hi

Trying to try out Zimbra desktop, but don't get it working. Installs allright but when setting up my gmail account it gives me the following error message: "Cannot connect to "SMTP server". Please check host/port and network connectivity.".

I use the gmail option in zimbra. My gmail account has Imap enabled. downloaded zimbra to day so it should be latest version. windows 7 64bit, swedish. used the swedish localization option so all error messages will be in swedish.

Thanks for any help.

I was connnecting through a vpn (please don't tell my mother) and disabling that made it work. I don't want it disabled so no zimbra for me just now.
