Desktop client Installaton by using internet ip

Dear all,
I am using ZCS 5.0 and desktop client 1.0
I have seprte LAN ip and Internet ip
internet ip is used toaccess server out of our network
but by using internet ip i am not able to configure desktop client
it showing error message like cant find network and some soap/service error
pls some one help me in this..........................

You haven't given any details on whether you are on your LAN or an external IP when you're trying to connect to the Zimbra server, which is it? You need to post the exact error message? Can you also telnet on the correct port to the Zimbra server from your current location?
