Default [SOLVED] FTP-Links missinterpreted

Is it correct that ZD and Zimbra Webmail in their latest version (ZD beta 2, Webmail on 6.0.6R1) are not correctly interpreting FTP Links (always results in a link about:blank). Is there already a bug opened for this, anyone else having this problem?

No, that's not correct. In ZD 2 beta 2 and the current 6.0.6 Web UI an ftp link is opened in my browser when I click on it in an email.

Obviously I'm not having the problem and if you want to know if there's a bug report then have a look in Bugzilla Main Page - Zimbra.

I don't use a MAC nor do I have access to one. Also as I don't know what the link is you're actually using then it's difficult for me to comment.

Does it work in another browser? Does the ftp link actually work if you enter it directly into the browser? How about the following link:

Code:
ftp://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/
Does that work?

Default Link Differences

Hi

I now tested using the proposed debian link. I can do the following statement now. If the E-Mail is using plain-text, then the ftp link is working. If it's formated using HTML, then the link is not working.

So if an e-mail body is html, FTP links don't function.

Well the html email still works for me, here's the relevant part just for confirmation:

Code:
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
	boundary="----=_Part_30_33191094.1276103720659"
X-Mailer: Zimbra 6.0.6_GA_2324.RHEL5 (ZimbraWebClient - FF3.0 (Linux)/6.0.6_GA_2324.RHEL5)

------=_Part_30_33191094.1276103720659
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

ftp://www.test.com

ftp://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/
------=_Part_30_33191094.1276103720659
Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'>ftp://www.test.com<br><br>ftp://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/</div></body></html>

Try creating an ftp link directly in ZD and send it to yourself (html-formatted), then check if this still works for you.

Thanks
