Zimbra Social

Can someone please direct me to a thread or knowledge base that has some information on Zimbra Social.

I understand its concept and implementation what i am looking for is can Zimbra Desktop use this feature.

Not yet, but we will make it work with ZD and probably will install it as part of ZD by default.

Since i am in the testing phase for user implimintation. Is the Zimbra Social only using Twitter and facebook? Are there any other instant messaging programs that can be used?
