Default Desktop / Mac Snow Leopard / iDisk

Two of our users have had their Macbooks and iMacs constantly hang or crash since about 4 weeks and according to Apple support the problem seem to be produced by a combination of iDisk-Spotlight-Zimbra Desktop.

Have any of you come across a similar issue. Both used the last version of publicly released desktop and we tried Beta 2 without any improvement.
