Default Zimbra Desktop Server Error in Windows 7

I upgraded my OS from MS Vista to Windows 7 and am unable to start Zimbra Mail on my desktop. I get the error message - "Couldn't access Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop Server. If issue persists after reinstall, please check logs for errors and report to http://www.zimbra.com/forum/zimbradesktop".

Any suggestions on how I can get it working without reinstallation?
If I have to reinstall, how do I save my data?

You should start with details of which version of ZImbra Desktop you're using.

Did you check the log file for errors? If there's an error report then post it in the Error Reports forum, your post here isn't an error report. Did you search the ZD forums and try some of the tips you'll find there.
