Default Trouble setting up pop3 account

I just downloaded the latest version of Zimbra Desktop

I am trying to set up a pop3 email account and I get the following error:
SSL connection failure. Please check host and port settings
I have double checked all of the information and confirmed it is the same as my Thunderbird account.

I am using windows vista home premium.

Any Suggestions?

Here is what you need to do:
acct type: POP
Acct name: anything you want
Your full name: anything you want
email address: enter your email address
RECEIVE MAIL:
user name: your email address
PW: email password
INCOME MAIL SERVER: mail.yourservername.us port 110

Sending mail: check Authenticate username & Pw
Then enter:
Name: whatever you want
email: your email address
SMTP Server: smtp.yourserver.com use port 2525
Reply to: your email address
NOTE: if you select "leave mail on server" you will get error message and have to select "delete after downloading".
At least this was with 2.0. I spoke to Zimbro about this and currently is is a bug and suppose to be working on.
It is not your server causing this as Zimbra reports. I am using Thunderbird because Zimbro will not leave my mail on my mail server...deletes from my mail server after I view it on my desktop.

I'm having the same problem in setting up a POP account. I'm using the same settings as Outlook and Thunderbird, but get the same error as the OP.

I originally had selected "leave mail on server", but read your reply and changed it, but still have the same error. The only thing different is my SMTP port is 587, per the ISP, where you said to use 2525. Was that relevant, or just part of your example?

This is on a new laptop running Windows 7, and a wireless connection.

I have been wondering the same thing... my server tells me that I use different ports, so I assume they may differ
