Default isssues attaching to zimbra account

just setup my first zimbra server and all seems to be functional w/ that and thought I'd try the Desktop client. After going thought the install taking the defaults I'm having difficulty connecting.

i get this erro w/o ssl unchecked (port 80)
account.INVALID_ATTR_VALUE: zimbraPrefForwardIncludeOriginalText must be one of: includeAsAttachment, includeBody, includeBodyWithPre fix, includeBodyAndHeadersWithPrefix
and this error w/ ssl checked (port 443)
Cannot connect to "https://10.0.0.186/service/soap/". Please check host/port and network connectivity.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forums,

So the 1st issue your hitting is Bug 46127 - ZD1.0 can't sync versions after ZCS 6.0.6 (if default COS or fresh ZCS)

If you're a user change the settings for reply/forward via your preferences tab.
If you're the server admin you can fix it for an entire COS:
    Code:
    zmprov mc default zimbraPrefForwardIncludeOriginalText includeBody
    zmprov mc defualt zimbraPrefReplyIncludeOriginalText includeBody
Besides a firewall, the 2nd issue may be due to the fact that you don't have https enabled, see: CLI zmtlsctl to set Web Server Mode - Zimbra :: Wiki

Bug 41448 - default both http & https for web-client

    I am the admin
what file would that code be stored in?

as a user where is the "reply/forward" under the preferences tab?

    thanks again

If you mean the 'code snippet' posted in the reply by mmorse then it's not in a file, it's using the zmprov command run on the Zimbra server as the Zimbra user - check the Admin Guide for details (or the wiki).

    when i put this in
    zmprov mc defualt zimbraPrefReplyIncludeOriginalText includeBody
i get a error saying "account.NO_SUCH_COS (no such cos: defualt)

however the first command worked fine and it did change the error i'm getting to
account.INVALID_ATTR_VALUE: zimbraPrefReplyIncludeOriginalText must be one of: includeAsAttachment, includeBody, includeBodyWithPre fix, includeNone, includeSmart, includeBodyAndHeaders WithPrefix

    Default

the first code snippet has a typo on the second line

the COS is listed as defualt, not default

    try this

    Code:
    zmprov mc default zimbraPrefReplyIncludeOriginalText includeBody
    -zebo
