Default How to undo default action on attachment selection with desktop app? (not browser)

I'm using Zimbra Desktop 1.0.4 (build 1833)

From the 'about zimbra' menu section I can also report the following:

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008072406 Prism (zdesktop/1.0.4)

Please note: I am NOT starting my browser to go to an url for the zimbra client. I am using the installed application on my laptop, as installed by downloading the zimbra desktop .dmg file.

I am unable to locate where I can undo a default action for attachments.

My example (for clarity): I saved a .ppt file once (and allowed it to be a default action), and now I have no ability to simply open new .ppt files from the zimbra desktop client. Instead, clicking on any new .ppt always results it Zimbra Desktop asking me what directory I should download the file to.

I'm requesting that someone tell me how to undo/re-configure the default action that I've selected.

Default

Some other user managed to solve this problem:

****
Go to the installation folder Zimbra\zdesktop\profile and edit the mimeTypes.rdf
file. You can open it with an Editor and change the entry for the Word document from NC:alwaysAsk="false" to NC:alwaysAsk="true" and NC:saveToDisk="true" to NC:saveToDisk="false" Save and it works.

Default Files automatically save to desktop

I have tried your solution here. It worked for changing the defaults back to asking what you want to do with the file. What would I need to change to stop it from saving all downloads to the users desktop? System is Mac running Snow Leopard.

Default Newer version

I have the 7.1.1 version of Zimbra desktop on mac osx. I also need to change some of the default applications for opening certain attachment types. Unfortunately the code is slightly different and I cannot locate anything similar to the solution above. Can anyone provide any guidance?

Sure would be great if there were a GUI interface for these settings.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same Problem; I can't locate where to change the setting for .pdf. I have to save every attachment before I can view them - which is a disk and productivity suck...
