Unread messages no longer bold

As from very recently, unread messages on ZD are no longer shown in bold. There is a closed envelope icon, but that's it. I suspect some update to Ubuntu 9.10 has caused it, but no idea what. The Web client is the same.

I also run Thunderbird, and that shows bold fonts fine ... not sure if that proves anything though

At first it seemed not to, but after a reboot my bold is back!

You're welcome, if you're happy this is fixed could you mark the thread as solved? It's a drop-down in Thread Tools at the top of the page (if you haven't seen it before).
