Default 2.0 10343 - Spell Check

My spell check works fine in Zimbra Desktop as I type.
And if I misspell something it's underlined in red.

But if I right click I don't get any suggestions.
I end up copy and pasting into google for the correct spelling.

Is their an option somewhere I need to enable???

Thanks,

Kenny

It should work by default, it does on my openSuSE system with ZD 2.x installed. If you're using Windows have you got any pop-up blockers or antivirus software (like Avast) that may interfere with ZD?

Then you should search bugzilla for this problem and file a report if none exists.

Why isn't there a spell check button anymore? A lot of our users are really annoyed that there isn't anything there. Spell check is a very basic feature and should be fixed

Interesting you're right. I don't use text mode much so I hadn't noticed.
So I can send ugly but correctly spelled emails, or good looking misspelled emails.... hmm decisions decisions lol

Default Spell check menu unavailable for HTML emails in ZD2

I have filed a bug for this issue here. Vote on it if you want to see it fixed speedily.

Bug 45950 Spell checker spelling suggestions are not displayed upon right click
