Default A gmail account that is almost always sync'ing

I have a new install of zd 1.0.4 1833 with a total of three gmail and one yahoo email accounts so far. The largest gmail account (1.5g) is almost always in it's sync state. It's set to sync every 15 minutes. On my other older pc with a slightly older zd it is set to sync every minute, and it didn't have this issue of getting 'stuck' in sync. Anyone know what this might be about? I wonder if this version of zd is somehow less efficient at sync?

Yea, I had the same problem. The syncing was continuous and it eventually took down my Yahoo account for a few days.

Another new issue, same account, is that emails that have been read in zd don't seem to be marked as read in gmail.

I wonder if some z employee can comment on this issue and any possible fix?

It's starting to mess up my email life, in that sometimes emails sit in the outbox for a long long time before they get out; I may switch to thunderbird as my primary email client if this issue cannot be resolved soon.

Another failing of the newer version of zd that I've installed is that it does not seem to support dragging files in order to attach them to an email. Prev versions supported this...or is there some new way to drag/attach? The attach dialog still works.
