notifications with filters

Hi
I've set up some mail filters but now notice that I don't get a notification when a e-mail turns up that i have filtered to move to a new folder. Can I turn the notification back on for these?

I would check preferences,under the receiving messages section > When a Message arrives > Play a sound (requires QuickTime or Windows Media plugin)

See if this plays the notification if not check the box mext to "Send a notification message to:"

I have all the options under receiving messages turned on - I don't see a "Send a notification message to:" option there

it is only messages that I have filters for that I'm not being notified about - all messages into the inbox are fine
