zimbra desktop 1_0_4_build_1833_win32 synchronization problem

i am trying to connect my zimbra dektop 1_0_4_build_1833_win32 to my Zimbra Web Client account Release 6.0.4_GA_2038.RHEL5_20091214172206 RHEL5 NETWORK edition, following the exact procedure given in :-

initially, when i am launching zimbra dektop, it is synchronizing fine with my Zimbra Web Client account. but, the problem is, it is not getting synchronized after this. no matter, how many new mails arrive after the initial setup, the zimbra dektop is showing none of them, even if i click on the "send-receive" link manually .
can someone please help me out ?
