No right-hand preview pane option

My View menu lets me turn the reading pane on and off only. I'd like it over to the right.

I saw an email discussion online (not sure where, now) that showed a Zimbra View menu that also allowed a choice of a reading pane at the bottom (like I have) or over to the right, which I would prefer.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Install Zimbra Desktop Beta 2 if you don't already have it, that's not a feature of previous releases. The release announcement is in this forum as a sticky, do take note that there's no upgrade path from previous versions etc., etc. Make sure you read the announcement in detail and the wiki articles and FAQ before you change versions.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll try it.

Luckily, I hadn't used the previous version much because of my problems, so going to a blank slate won't be hard.
