Zimbra

I have installed Zimbra desktop on a Win XP connected to a Samba Domain .

When i log off the user from the windows and relogin than i can not load the profile from the server bacause there is Zimbra background service already running and has locked files.

Which version of Zimbra Desktop are you using? ZD2.0 beta 1 or the current released version?

If you are using the released version try installing the ZD2 beta, it changes quite a few things related to how the services work and how user data is stored to better work in environments like that.

I am using the current release version. But i am going to thest the beta thank you for that tipp. Is the beta stable enough to use it in production enviroment??

Yes it is, but you should always treat any Beta release with caution and backup your data regularly. Obviously if your mail is left on the Zimbra server then you're not likely to lose data but I'd still suggest a regular backup.
