zimbra opening IE, not default browser

hi all,

whenever i click a link within an email, zimbra is opening internet explorer instead of safari, my default browser.

i've made sure that safari is my default so that's not the issue. any ideas?

EDIT: zimbra opens an IE window because i had IE running in the background playing sirius radio. when i closed that window and clicked a link again, zimbra opened a safari window but, it also opened a duplicate in a second zimbra window
