[SOLVED] ZD 1.0.x and ZD 2.0 beta 1 couldn't view and search GAL

Hi all,

For some reason, when I connect to mailbox using ZD, I couldn't view or search in GAL. At the same time, I have no problem with web-based client - GAL is fully available on it.

Server - ZCS 6.0.5, GAL from external LDAP (Active Directory).
Clients - ZD 1.0.4 & ZD 2.0.

Does anybody have solution for with issue or I should start bug report in bugzilla?

sounds like a configuration issue on the server side. server must enable gal sync (zimbraFeatureGalSyncEnabled = true, something like that); and server must be able to pull in external AD entries (on ZCS 6.0, that means server must have gal sync account provisioned)

Thanks a lot for your advice! It realy helps me.

Just need to check user properties:
zmprov ga -e user@domain

And set that settings:
zmprov ma user@domain zimbraFeatureGalSyncEnabled TRUE
