Angry Upgrading from v1 to v2

Hi,

I was going through the announcement post and it said that there is no data migration between v1 and v2. Does this mean that we have to re-download gigs of mail from our mail server again? Is this limitation going to be for the beta release only or is the final release going to have the same limitation? If that is the case, I guess I am stuck with version 1 for life. I dont have sent mail on the mail server, neither do I have contacts as I use POP3.

For POP everything is local. You can try export from 1.0 and then import into 2.0.

BTW we really hope you can switch to 2.0. Most people who have tried 2.0 can tell you it's a much improved product. Let us know if you have issues doing export/import.
