Default [SOLVED] ZD 2.0 beta 1

The Product Portal has the release of ZD 2.0. beta 1 as today (1/6/10). We have been waiting a long time for this day.... Can someone give us an update (and where to download it)? Thanks

That's right... however, as Zimbra's main office is in California, they are probably working to their local time - which is GMT(UTC) minus 8hrs, so it's currently 15:50 05.01.2010 in California! Though I'm sure patience makes your heart grow fonder...

Hey guys, thanks for being such patient fanboys! We are in full swing doing internal testing of the last alpha - gonna bump that date back a little bit for bake time before it gets the beta label go ahead. If you've been following along in perforce then you know why we're so excited. For the average user may get out some feature teasers shortly; watching RFE's turning green in pmweb just doesn't do justice to all the neat stuff packed into the upcoming release.

Any idea on how much longer? I haven't been able to sync my contacts since about November because of the country code issue. I read that this was being fixed in 2.0. I like Zimbra Desktop so I decided to wait but I really miss not having my contacts all in sync between the desktop and blackberry.

Thanks – I will be patient - I still think it’s a good idea to update the roadmap that’s listed on the Product Portal.

Based on ZCS 6.0 roadmap, We should expect ~4/5 month slip to ZD2.
Who's managing this project?
One thing every company should learn in to communicate! I should know, I'm a Sr. Development Manager at a fortune 500 company. If a project is not going to make it's target dates, a new plan is developed with new target dates and communicated well before the original release date. Sounds like you are "flying by the seat of your pants".

Hope we hear something soon! You owe it to your customers.
