Default ZDC - Default download location

I am trying to figure out how to change my default download location for files.

I am on a Macbook using ZDC and when I click a file it asks whether I want to save it or open it. When I choose to open it, the file is placed on my desktop and it opens in the default application. What I would like is for the file to be placed into a separate folder called Downloads in order to keep my desktop uncluttered. I have tried to change the default download location in both browsers installed on my computer (Firefox and Safari) and it is still now working the way I want.

Is this even possible?

I'm on Mac OS X 10.4.11 using ZDC 1.0.3.

Thanks!!

Perhaps people did not know the answer; hence no reply. I just tried myself and when clicking on a item to download it uses the preference I have set it Firefox. I guess as it is using Prism then it is picking up my FF settings.
