Default Zimbra Desktop and Windows 7?

Ever since I upgraded a vista pc to windows 7 ultimate, zd has stopped working. I've searched the forums and don't find mention of any issues but I am not sure that the forum search feature does a good job with a term like windows 7. Is there a known issue? Or should I just try a reinstall?

ZD runs perfectly well on my Windows 7 Ultimate. If you think there's a problem then have a look at the wiki articles for ZD and provide some troubleshooting information and/or file a bug report.

Since you are saying you upgraded Vista to Win 7, I would try uninstalling Zimbra Desktop (if it lets you), and then re-installing it. Who knows how the application upgrade process tried to migrate Zimbra Desktop from Vista to Win 7...

Arcane, your suggestion solved it for me. A full uninstall (kept data files) and installing the latest version worked.

Thanks

Glad it worked for you. And yes the first thing I thought of when they announced the name of "Windows 7" was that people will have a hell of a time on search engines trying to find things as anything with "windows" and the number 7 will get returned...
