    Hello,

    What is the POP3 authentication mechanism used by the Zimbra server.

    does the Zimbra server support the optional command set of POP3 (user+pass, apop)?

    POP3 in zimbra uses authenticate machines:
    PLAIN, GSSAPI
    you can enable it by zmprov command
