No techie here! I cannot get email accepted

I have had it with MS and its 'getting even stranger' policies and directives. In researching an alternative, everyone says how wonderful ZIMBRA is. That said, I am trying to make it work on my machine.

I downloaded it and tried adding an account. It keeps giving me an error message that says to check my email and password. I have used the same email for at least 5 years. This password is only about a year old.

HELP!

I appreciate any effort to make me smart enuf to make this work!
