Default Just updated to 1.0.4 build 1833

I just updated to 1.0.4 build 1833 and I made the above change to webapp.ini but in addition to setting navigation=true, I also had to set trayicon=false before it would start up. Just a heads-up for those having problems upgrading.

Default

I have been suffering from this annoying problem for a very long time, and the same problem was experienced even in Zimbra Desktop 2.0 Beta1 (I had uninstalled version 1 first).

Eventually I downgraded back to version 1.0.4 build 1833, and then also downloaded the latest iTunes (I now have iTunes 9.1.0.79), then disabled every option I could find in iTunes about communicating with iPod and tray icon, started Zimbra Desktop again - suddenly everything works!! the Zimbra Desktop toaster/tray-icon appeared! woohoo!

Worth a try for everybody else experiencing the same problem

Default New version iTunes fixes problem

Hi foobaz,

as godpa suggests, installing the latest version of iTunes (9.1.x) does fix the starting problem ! I did not have to modify any option in iTunes, left everything in default, just upgraded to the latest version and bingo Zimbra is working again. Isn't it funny to be able to blame Steve instead of Bill ?
