    Default zimbra desktop password protection

Is there any way to password protect zimbra desktop so that it cannot be launched and accessed by just anyone. I realize that my computer must be secure, however at times ther is a chance it will be launched by some one other than myself. My Zimbra email is password protected so long as I logout. Any chance desktop version can as well. Also has anyone figured out how to tell if sent mail has been opened, read, deleted ( we are coming from GW era) Thanks

    Default

    even if you do that..
if "someone" get "access" to your desktop they can READ your mail anyway

for example if my zimbra desktop is installed at D:\zdesktop then under "store" you can find the messages.
    D:\zdesktop\store\0\2\msg\0

    * this is true for outlook or any other offline client

securing your computer is the best option
