imap folder problem with dovecot maildir

Hi,

Version build: 1593
Server: dovecot imap running maildir

When I created a new subfolder in Zimbra and move a few files in it. Then I switch back to thunderbird or outlook, both of them would not be able to see the subfolder created by Zimbra desktop. Does anybody know what is the cause of it? Even if I created a new folder, it does not appear in the imap server either.

Can anybody come across the similar problem?

You need to Subscribe to the newly created folder in your other clients.

Thanks for the quick reply, but when I created the folder from Zimbra, I could not even see the directory in the server side. Normally if I created a imap folder from within thunderbird or outlook, I can see the folder being created in the imap server which I can see if I login to the linux server. If I created the folder within thunderbird and then open outlook, outlook can see it and vice versa.
