[SOLVED] how to update the offline GAL

As administrator, I recently made some changes in the GAL entries and removed several that were no longer valid.

The web client reflects these changes of course since it is real-time access but for users of the desktop client, the entries still remain.

If deletions (or any changes) are not pulled down to desktop clients, is there another method to force reload the local GAL copy other than deleting and recreating the account?

in zd 1.0, deleted entries are only picked up during a full gal sync, which happens every 30 days by default. it's controlled by this key in conf/localconfig.xml (zd restart required if anything's changed)

in zd 1.1 (appx release date is fall this year), deleted entries will be removed during regular delta sync, which happens at the same interval as mail sync.

jmhe, thanks for the info. Shortening the time between full GAL syncs should solve the problem for us.
