Saving Emails

I can't seem to find a zimlet for saving email from zimbra desktop to your hard drive, is there one available? I've found the StarXpert:Save one that allows drag and drop saving to a zipped html file from a web browser interface but I would prefer being able to do it from the desktop client.

Go to the Prefences/Inport/Export tab and export your mail from there.

I want to be able to save individual emails rather than an exporting all of my email, is that done from the import/export tab?

You can click on the Advanced check box and search for any email you want to export.

I suppose my questions would be, why do you want to export email from ZD? The email in there is already stored on you local PC, there's no specific need (AFAICS) to export anything.

It is often easier for the company to have all emails that regard one project to be stored that project's folder on our share. That helps to insure that if somebody needs to look at it (even if it was somebody one would initially expect had no reason to look at that message) they can.
