[SOLVED] Desktop GUI has no tray or menu bar

I can't minimise or shutdown Zimbra desktop from within the GUI because there is no widows menu bar at top or a tray at the bottom of the screen. I am running Zimbra under windows XP on an Asus 901 netbook.

The netbook has a small 9 inch screen but I dont have this problem with any other program and changing the screen resolution doesnt seem to help. The only way I can exit Zimbra is by clicking 'help' to get the browser up (iE7) and closing Zimbra from the tray icon. This is a bit anoying.

Has anybody got any ideas on how I can fix this?

Is this still an issue? It sounds like Zimbra Desktop was covering the whole screen? Let me see if there's a way to launch ZD using a fixed size.

Thanks for the response. I still have the issue. The Zimbra desktop covers the whole screen with a thin border right at the edge. There is no menu bar on top or tray at bottom or a scroll bar at the side. Also I can't find any point on the border that the the cursor will act to reduce the size.

I have only recently downloaded Zimbra for the first time so I am uncertain what the screen should look like but I see in the FAQ that shut down is by windows X box or right clicking on tray icon neither of which exists on my screen. I expect to be away from my computer for the next two or three days but after that I may need to try deleting Zimbra and reinstalling.

Can you try this workaround?

1) exit ZD
2) backup this file zdesktop.webapp\localstore.json (in case you make a mistake editing it)
3) use notepad to open it
4) look for "fullscreen":true
5) change true to false (don't change anything else) and save it
6) start ZD

Yes this worked. Problem is solved. Thank you. I have to say I had a little trouble finding .json file - windows search could not find it. By doing a bit of drilling I found it in Documents and settings.../local settings/application data/zimbra/zdesktop/zdesktop.webapp/localstore.json. I am a bit surprised the exe file and all the Zimbra settings are not in the Programs folder but maybe thats my fault when I installed. No matter it works.
