use pop settings if u want zimbra to work

* POP: pop3.live.com (port 995)
* SMTP: smtp.live.com (port 25)
o Note: make sure you check the box that indicates that your outgoing server requires authentication (in most mail clients this is not checked by default).
* Username: your full email address
* Password: your Windows Live ID password

REMEMBER that u cant save messages on the server, because zimbra folks dont care about hotmail users at all. ive gotten tired of asking for this.

Asking for fixes and RFEs in the forums won't get you anywhere. The correct place for those is bugzilla, did you ever file an RFE for the feature?

The bug report will be reviewed through the normal procedure and you (and anyone else that's interested) should also vote on it.

omg! wake up and fix this. LIVE mail supports pop forever now. just freaking fix your xxxx and stop forcing a server mail delete.

Hi Mr. Electron,

I'm with you. The response is pretty poor. This isn't just some obscure provider...a lot of potential users are alienated because of this missing functionality. I don't know how the original bug (30643) was classified as an enhancement...it's a major bug, plain and simple; and a deal breaker for MSN users.

Cheers,

Well, posting a 'me too' comment in the forums will have little impact on the bug. If you're really in favour of getting it implemented then add your vote to the bug report.
