New Appointment- Default Calendar

I'm using Zmbra Desktop 1.0 (build 1537) Mac version to connect to my account on a ZCS Version 5.0.15_GA_2851.

In my profile I have 2 calendars that are my own and a few calendars that are shared calendars I'm linked to. When I create a new appointment by dragging a time slot on my calendar, the calendar that is always designated for the appointment is a particular one of the shared calendars and not my default "Calendar"---even though the color of the dragged area is that of my default "Calendar".

Same behavior happens if I just click on the New Button.
