    Default Sync with Comcast.net webmail?

Is it possible to sync my Zimbra Desktop with my Comcast.net webmail? If so, how? Thanks!

    Welcome to the forums

This question would be better directed to the Comcast support team.

Settings for IMAP/POP3 are here, you can probably set that as a Zimbra account in the ZD set-up.

General here for Comcast customers is here: Comcast Help and Support

    Default Settings

Zimbra Desktop works well with Comcast/XFINITY mail- it's Zimbra afterall, and no ads.

    my settings:
    Add New Account
    Account Type: Zimbra

    Account Name: Comcast
    Email Address: your_username@comcast.net
    Password: <your_password>
    Incoming Server: smartzone.mail.comcast.net
    Security: None
Check Messages: as new mail arrives

Note, Comcast doesn't support SSL. Although you can set the incoming server to the host portion of the URL from a browser login, be advised that they may move you to another server which will break your client. It's best to use smartzone.mail.comcast.net.
